In 2007 we bought a plot with various buildings, a former livestock and arable farm. The ultimate goal is to realize both a bed & breakfast and a small-scale swimming school on this site.

In the aftermath of the financial crisis, we decided in 2013 to build our B&B all by ourselves. And look, after the uprooting of about 70 trees and the demolition of the former barn with stables and manure cellars, we were able to start construction. Five years of hard work later, we were proud to introduce Bed & Breakfast Wouw to the world.

You will find B&B Wouw at the rear of the yard. Separate from the house and in a very rural location. At the front of the B&B, our guests have access to a spacious and sunny terrace of approximately 150 m².

With us you can enjoy a plot of no less than 4.5 hectares. Our animals also have their place in this beautiful rural environment. You will find 3 horses, a dog, a cat and chickens. The cat roams freely, the dog, on the other hand, is in its cage.

Sustainability and ecology are very important to us. The building was therefore realized with a higher insulation value than required. As a result, less energy is needed to keep the B&B warm.

We also use a wood gasifier with a 3000 liter buffer tank. The wood gasifier is used to heat the building and to provide hot water for showering. It has a return of between 87% and 92%, which puts it on the subsidy list of the RVO (Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland).
